Game Recaps
Houston Texans 0 @ New England Patriots 27 (HOU -1)
- My Picks: I picked Houston both straight up and went with the points (both wrong)
- I watched basically the entire game and was completely shocked by the outcome. I figured that any team that is down to their third string quarterback, especially one who hasn't started a game in his career, would take a significant step back. But that wasn't the case last night and I guess I should just trust in Bill Belichick and that he will find a way to make things work. Jacoby Brissett certainly played well enough to win the game, rushing for a touchdown and making the throws he needed to. The Patriots defense was stellar, shutting down the Texans' rushing attack and closing in on their receivers immediately. When Brady's suspension was announced I figured the Patriots had a best case scenario of going 2-2 during his games missed, but if they go 4-0, they could be an amazing team this season.

Headlines From this Week
- What is wrong with Carson Palmer? - Carson had under 300 yards, 0 TDs, and threw 4 picks against a Bills' defense that got shredded by the Jets last week
- Speaking of the Jets, Ryan Fitzpatrick threw 6 interceptions on Sunday against a good Chiefs' D. That's a lot, but still is not the record...that would be 8 and occurred all the way back in 1950. I'm sure the Jets are happy they only signed Fitzpatrick to a one-year deal.
