- Like the day after the draft I was offered a trade by a person in the league, and I believe he wanted one of my defensemen, since I had numerous top tier guys. Eventually we worked out a trade where I traded him P.K. Subban, John Gibson, and Andrew Ladd for David Krejci, Marc-Andre Fleury, and Patric Hornqvist. I was really pleased with this trade because I still have a good defense with Kris Letang, Sami Vatanen, and Marc-Edouard Vlasic and I also gained a goaltender in Fleury who will start for Pittsburgh at the beginning of the year and it means I'll also have both of the Penguins' goalies. I was also given David Krejci, who will round out a solid center group that includes Sidney Crosby and Alex Galchenyuk. Patric Hornqvist seems like an add in, but I'm happy because it means I will have the entire Penguins' top line of Crosby, Hornqvist, and Chris Kunitz, so it seems that I'll certainly have the opportunity to get points with them.
