Week 9 Fantasy Football Recap

• I lost all three of my leagues this week, which is really sad.  However, my teams performed fairly admirably and just lost to good opponents.

ESPN 10 Team League - "Gregory20" - L 93-104 (4-4-1)

• I dealt with bye weeks in a pretty severe way this way on this roster.  Carson Palmer, Lamar Miller, Martellus Bennett, and the Cardinals D/ST were all off this week so I had to replace them with less talented players/defenses.  Overall though, my back ups played well as Jameis Winston and the Cowboys D/ST both outperformed their projections.  This coming week I'll have a relatively full roster once again as bye weeks will only affect Amari Cooper and Marvin Jones Jr.

• This roster was pretty underwhelming, with numerous roster spots underperforming their projections.  The only players that met or outperformed expectations were Russell Wilson, DeMarco Murray, and Cameron Brate.  I also got 0 points out of Marvin Jones Jr and the Broncos D/ST.  Rob Gronkowski was out due to a bye week this past week, which contributed to my struggles and having him back should help me this coming week.

Yahoo's 12 Team League - "The League" - L 55.55 - 60.41 (4-5)

• I really don't like Yahoo Fantasy Football and the way their scoring works.  It always seems to me that ESPN is more straightforward and easier to navigate.  I'm also annoyed at how it seems that nearly every one of my players in Yahoo leagues seem to underperform.  This week, for instance, Cam Newton had yet another pathetic week and Le'Veon Bell couldn't do anything against the Ravens front seven.
